Beige and black shibori throw
This throw has two layers. The top layer is made with two shibori dyed vintage Japanese silks from the 1960’s.
The large center panel is rinzu silk. It has dyed dark purple lines on beige background and also a woven-in design of geometric patterns. The two side-bands have small white circles forming a basket-weave pattern on dark brown background with the typical raised texture of shibori.
The backing, as well as the top and bottom bands, is black silk crepe that folds around the two sides of the throw, framing the kimono silks.
This piece has substantial weight and beautiful drape.
Care: Dry-clean only.
