Pale-Green Quilt with Birds

The center panel of this quilt is made from a bolt of dead-stock (no longer produced) vintage Japanese tsumugi silk, and it has the distinctive uneven weave of tsumugi silk.
The border is vintage meisen silk from Pre WWII.
It has wool batting and black doupioni silk backing which folds around the edges to create the hand-sewn binding.
We recommend professional cleaning.
